SPORTS STAFF

Despite an all-around performance by Jacob Taylor of Chatham, the Panthers gave way to Whitehall 61-56. Taylor scored a game high 22 points. Jake Whiting showed the way for the Railroaders with 18 points. #8 Whitehall moves on to play #1 Maple Hill on 2/23 at HVCC.

Whitehall rushed out to a  first quarter lead 18-9.

Chatham lagged behind 35-22 at the half.

The Panthers used a determined effort in the third quarter and outscored Whitehall by 5 points.

The Railroaders were in command at each frame closures by plus 9, 13, 8, & 5.

Chatham improved upon early play in the second half but it was too little too late.

Whitehall placed three players in double figure scoring. Jake Whiting showed the way for the Railroaders with 18 points. Landon Stevens collected 12 points. Branden Groesbeck tallied 10 points. Latrell Evans notched 8 points. Enio Rehm chalked up 8 points.
Whitehall produced 7 hoops from long range.

Jacob Taylor sparked the attack for Chatham with 22 points. Tate Van Alstyne splashed in 12 points. Lennie Sitzer added 8 points. Owen Zaik had 8 points.
Chatham manufactored 7 trifectas.
Tate Van Alstyne nailed 3 three-pointers.
