South Glens Falls seized a down to the wire victory over Averill Park 71-70 in a Class AA sectional tilt. Brady Smith was an offensive spark plug for the Bulldogs with 25 points. South Glens Falls advances to play La Salle on 2/25 at Siena College.

As both teams refused to go away quietly the meeting went to double overtime where South Glens Falls overtook Averill Park. The contest was tied at 50 after regulation and tied at 61 after the first overtime.
Averill Park held a slight 1-point advantage heading into the fourth period.
Focused play in the second half helped as South Glens Falls outscored Averill Park 47-39 in the final two quarters and (OT). That was different than earlier in the game as they flipped the script of the first half when Averill Park built a 31-24 lead at the midway point.
Averill Park and South Glens Falls were all square after one period of play.
The Warriors played as a cohesive squad in the second stanza turning a tied game into a 7-point halftime control. However, South Glens Falls took advantage of great halftime adjustments and cut their deficit to one point heading into the fourth quarter.
