Albany Academy took the win versus Stillwater 64-37 to move on to the Class B sectional final on 3/2 against Mechanicville at HVCC. Liana Williams spurred on the attack for the Bears popping in 21 points.
Albany Academy held a small 2-point lead at the start of the second quarter. The Bears raced ahead after two quarters 34-22.
The Bears asserted their dominance and led at every quarter buzzers by leads of 2, 12, 23, & 27.
The Bears had three shooting stars in double figure scoring. Liana Williams was an offensive spark plug for Albany Academy with 21 points. Bella Vincent contributed 14 points. Eva Gitto totaled 12 points.
The Bears shot with skillful form at the free throw line as they attained 80%, 16 of 20.
