Duanesburg outlasted Berne-Knox 50-43 in a Class C sectional semi-final tilt. Ethan Thompson starred on offense for the victors with 24 points. Eagles leading scorer Jeff Mulhern didn't play and it's reported that he's finished for the season with a knee injury. Duanesburg now plays Maple Hill for the title on 3/1 in Glens Falls. This will be a rematch of an earlier game in the season where Maple Hill used a fourth quarter rally to win that non league game.

The Eagles relied on their solid second half play as they led at the end of the third period and at the culminating flip of the hourglass.

Spurned on by a first-class performance in the last half Duanesburg outscored Berne-Knox 30-18 in the final two quarters. That was different than the first half when Berne-Knox built a 25-20 lead at the midway point.
The Bulldogs used an impressive first eight minutes and rushed out to a first quarter lead 14-6.
The outcome was still in limbo as the teams went to the first half stoppage with Berne-Knox out in front.
