Maple Hill rallied for the victory over Hoosic Valley 54-47 in a Class C semi-final game. Brady Cole propelled the offense for the Wildcats leading the way with 18 points. Maple Hill will play Duanesburg on 3/1 at the Cool Insuring Arena for the the title.
The Wildcats went off in a crunch time comeback getting the better of Hoosic Valley 17-8 as the final seconds ticked down. That burst enabled them to celebrate the outcome.
Hoosic Valley were strong out of the gate and sprinted out to a decent first quarter lead 17-6.
The Wildcats maximized their play in the third quarter and outscored Hoosic Valley by 5 points.
Maple Hill placed three in double figure scoring. Brady Cole showed the way for the Wildcats with 18 points. Nick Novak chipped in 11 points. Dean Chevrier tallied 10 points. Austin Prest knocked down 6 points.
Hoosic Valley had a triplet in double figure scoring. Chris Jones put forth a strong offensive game for Hoosic Valley with 15 points. Isaac Wiley secured 14 points. Landon Reilly poured in 10 points.
