Saratoga Catholic defeated Loudonville Christian 51-28 in the opening round of the Mike Beson Memorial Tournament. The Saints will play North Warren in the championship game tomorrow. Loudonville Christian plays Galway in the consolation game.

The Eagles lost ground 29-17 at the half.
Saratoga Catholic turned a 4-point first quarter lead into a 12-point halftime edge.

The Saints were on top at all quarter stoppage by margins of 4, 12, 20, & 23.

David Redgrave paced the Saints with 12 points. Jasyn Thompson netted 11 points. Tyler Hicks totaled 9 points. Hunter Fales notched 8 points.
Saratoga Catholic produced 8 buckets from beyond the arc.
David Redgrave made 3 three-pointers.

Jack Bibighaus was an offensive catalyst for Loudonville Christian with 12 points. Liam Deeb scored 6 points. Shayne Paddock knocked down 6 points. Ben Hoffman dropped 4 points.
