Maple Hill beat up Coxsackie 70-17 on the hardwood of Section 2 basketball in the annual Patroon Conference Coaches vs. Cancer event.
Maple Hill used a monster second half as they played superb in the win.
The Wildcats were strong out of the gate and darted in front to gain a hefty first quarter lead 14-8.

Maple Hill used a monster second half as they played superb in the win.
The Wildcats were strong out of the gate and darted in front to gain a hefty first quarter lead 14-8.
Maple Hill dominated the first half and led 32-11. The Wildcats played sound basketball in the second period turning a 6-point first quarter lead into a 21-point halftime edge.
Maple Hill used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Coxsackie by 16 points.
The Wildcats were in command at every quarter buzzer by margins of 6, 21, 37, & 53.
Lauryn Smith paced the Wildcats with 13 points. Karsyn Berger poured in 9 points. Natasha Strock scored 8 points. Shannon Tacy with 8 points. Abby Utter picked up 8 points.
Maple Hill splashed 8 buckets from beyond the arc.
Karsyn Berger made 3 three-pointers.
The Wildcats shot excellent from the charity stripe as they produced 80%, 12 of 15.
