The Indians dropped a decision to the Wildcats by 15 points, 68-53, in a first-rate Section 2 basketball rumble on the hardwood.

Maple Hill were strong out of the gate and sprinted out to a significant first quarter lead 18-12.

The Wildcats opened up a sizable halftime advantage of 38-26. Maple Hill played sound basketball in the second period turning a 6-point first quarter lead into a 12-point halftime edge.

The Wildcats used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Coxsackie-Athens by 4 points.

Maple Hill were in command at every period ending horn by margins of 6, 12, 16, & 15.

The Wildcats had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Tyler Hanrahan led the Wildcats with 15 points. Evan Kulpa contributed 14 points. Rian Jewett tallied 11 points. Nate Mannion finished with 9 points. Quinn Pratico racked up 9 points.
Maple Hill shot with skillful form at the charity stripe as they produced 68.4%, 13 of 19.

Killian Schrader paced Coxsackie-Athens with 23 points. Gil Bell powered in 10 points. Aiden Boehm collected 7 points.
The Indians buried 5 hoops from deep.
