Bishop Gibbons conquered Northville 70-50 in (518) hoop action. Noah Foster and Rodney Parker combined to score 46 points for the victors.
The Golden Knights finished the game with authority as they outscored the Falcons by 12-points in crunch time.
Bishop Gibbons had great energy right from the tip off and played excellent team basketball on their way to a significant first quarter lead 19-7. They put together an extraordinary defensive effort and took control of the quarter. Yet, Northville rallied in the second quarter and outscored Bishop Gibbons by 7 points.
The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half intermission with Bishop Gibbons gaining the upper hand.
Bishop Gibbons were on top at every quarter buzzer by margins of 12, 5, 8, & 20.
Noah Foster led the Golden Knights with 28 points. Rodney Parker scored 18 points.
