Schalmont outlasted Mohonasen 60-49 in a first-rate Colonial Council rumble on the hardwood. Shane O Dell led the Sabres with 31 points.
Schalmont held a modest 2-point edge at the start of the second quarter. The Sabres then jumped out to a comfortable margin at the break 32-18. Schalmont played as a complete unit in the second period turning a 2-point first quarter lead into a 14-point halftime lead.
The Sabres managed to be ahead at every quarter buzzer by margins of 2, 14, 13, & 11.
