Mayfield defeated Hadley-Luzerne 66-22 in Section 2 basketball play.
The Panthers used a monster second half as they played superb in the win.
Mayfield had an impressive first eight minutes and darted in front to gain a significant first quarter lead 12-4. They put together a lock down defense and took control of the quarter.

The Panthers raced ahead after two quarters 29-13.
Mayfield played solid as a rock in the second frame turning a 8-point first quarter lead into a 16-point halftime lead.
Mayfield put together a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Hadley-Luzerne by 19 points.
The Panthers managed to be ahead at every period ending horn by margins of 8, 16, 35, & 44.
Mayfield placed three players in double figure scoring. Hampton paced Mayfield with 16 points. Meca registered 14 points. Dopp collected 11 points. Hubiak had 9 points. LaVada sank 8 points.
Mayfield made 6 trey balls.
Dopp nailed 3 three-pointers.
Kenny K led the Eagles with 7 points. Lent collected 4 points. Goman totaled 3 points.
