Queensbury defeated South Glens Falls 50-21 in a Foothills Council match up.
The Spartans used an impressive first eight minutes and sprinted out to a decent first quarter lead 13-5. They put together a magnificent defensive effort and took control of the quarter.
Queensbury raced ahead after two quarters 28-14. The Spartans played solid as a rock in the second quarter turning a 8-point first quarter lead into a 14-point halftime edge.
The Spartans were in front at every period ending horn by margins of 8, 14, 16, & 29.
Hope Sullivan paced Queensbury with 13 points. Abby Doin registered 12 points. Hailey Ballard finished with 8 points. Shea Murray dropped 6 points.
Queensbury drilled 5 hoops from deep.
Hannah Breen led the Bulldogs with 7 points. Zoe Lanfear poured in 6 points. Sydney Hart tallied 5 points.
