Northville escaped with a victory over Salem 59-48 in a lively (518) hoop match up. Jason Ellsworth led the Falcons with 26 points.
Northville held a slim 2-point margin heading into the second quarter. The Falcons raced ahead after two quarters 30-16.
Northville played well in the second quarter turning a 2-point first quarter lead into a 14-point halftime edge.
The offenses clicked in the fourth quarter as they generated their highest scoring period of 41 points.
