Maple Hill were dominant versus Taconic Hills 57-26 on the hardwood of Section 2 basketball. Rian Jewett led the victors with 19 points.
The Wildcats seemed dialed in right from the jump and started the game in style racing to a significant first quarter lead 13-4. They put together an extraordinary defensive effort and took control of the quarter.

Maple Hill jumped out to a comfortable margin at the break 28-13. The Wildcats played as a complete unit in the second frame turning a 9-point first quarter lead into a 15-point halftime lead.
The Wildcats used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Taconic Hills by 14 points.
The Wildcats were on top at every quarter buzzer by margins of 9, 15, 29, & 31.
Maple Hill had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Rian Jewett paced the Wildcats with 19 points. Dominic Hirschoff added 11 points. Ben Marra tallied 10 points. Davin Sherwood sank 7 points.
