Voorheesville slipped past Mohonasen 63-58 in a tilt that most local fans expected to come down to the final buzzer. Tedesco and Little combined to score 43 points for the victors. Voorheesville relied on their consistent second half play as they led at the end of the third frame and at the final horn.

The Blackbirds held a slim 1-point margin at the start of the fourth quarter.

The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Mohonasen gaining the upper hand.

The Blackbirds put forth a team first approach that provided a spark out of the break, after they trailed at the half, and took the lead 43-42 going into the final frame.

Tedesco paced the Blackbirds with 25 points. Little scored 18 points. Parker poured in 8 points.
Voorheesville shot outstanding from the free throw line as they produced 83.3%, 15 of 18.

The Mighty Warriors had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Gillisslee led Mohonasen with 23 points. Gannon added 13 points. Vice had 11 points. Coelho popped in 7 points.
Mohonasen made 7 trey balls.
Gannon made 3 three-pointers.
