Mayfield beat North Warren 55-13 on the hardwood of Section 2 basketball.
The Panthers had great energy right from the tip off and started the game in style racing to a decent first quarter lead 19-2. They put together an extraordinary defensive effort and took control of the quarter.

The Panthers had great energy right from the tip off and started the game in style racing to a decent first quarter lead 19-2. They put together an extraordinary defensive effort and took control of the quarter.
The Panthers dominated the first half and led 32-5. Mayfield played solid as a rock in the second quarter turning a 17-point first quarter lead into a 27-point halftime edge.
The Panthers used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored North Warren by 10 points.
Mayfield were in command at every period ending horn by margins of 17, 27, 37, & 42.
The Panthers had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Kelsey Meca paced Mayfield with 13 points. Cloey Dopp registered 10 points. Lindsey Hampton added 10 points.
The Panthers connected on 6 buckets from beyond the arc.

Kaitlin Kramar and Jodi Bartlett led North Warren with 5 points each. Lauren Monroe had 3 points.
