Loudonville Christian beat Hawthorne Valley 50-38. Victoria Ralston and Skyler Househoulder combined to score 39 points for the Eagles. The Eagles depended on their tenacious second half play as they led at the end of the the third quarter and at the last horn.
Hawthorne Valley and Loudonville Christian were all square after one period of play.
The Eagles played solid as a rock in the second period turning a tied game into a 10-point halftime bulge. However, Loudonville Christian took advantage a strong third quarter and led 41-21 headed to the fourth quarter.
The Eagles used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Hawthorne Valley by 10 points.
