Despite a great scoring performance by Damien Fiducia of Greenville, the Spartans took the loss against Maple Hill 73-67. Fiducia scored a game high 30 points. Rian Jewett led the Wildcats with 25 points.
The Wildcats came up with a final stanza surge as they out-shot the Spartans 23-16 in the closing minutes. That burst enabled them to celebrate the outcome.

The Wildcats were strong out of the gate and darted in front to gain a nice first quarter lead 20-14. Yet, Greenville rallied in the second quarter and outscored Maple Hill by 5 points.
The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Maple Hill gaining the upper hand.
Greenville came through with inspired basketball out of the break, after they trailed at the half, and took the lead 51-50 going into the last quarter.
Maple Hill placed three players in double figure scoring. Rian Jewett led the Wildcats with 25 points. Blake Decker scored 15 points. Dominic Hirschoff added 10 points. Ben Marra scored 9 points.
