Even with the scoring exploits from Joey Mirabile of Shaker, the Blue Bison were defeated by Averill Park 48-43. Mirabile scored a game high 28 points. Vinny Carucci paced the Warriors with 13 points.

The Warriors held a small 3-point lead going into the final frame. This no holds barred match up was a war on the floor through the third quarter.

Averill Park held a small 3-point lead at the beginning of the second quarter.

The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Shaker gaining the upper hand.
The Blue Bison played sound basketball in the second quarter turning a 3-point first quarter deficit into a 1-point halftime bulge.

Averill Park came through with inspired basketball out of the break, after they trailed at the half, and grabbed an advantage of 31-28 going into the last quarter.

The offenses caught fire in the fourth quarter as they generated a high octane 32 points.


Vinny Carucci paced the Warriors with 13 points. Jack Long collected 8 points. Matt Lettko scored 8 points. Michael Re sank 8 points. Ben Romer racked up 6 points.
Averill Park shot with sterling accuracy from the free throw line as they made 91.7%, 11 of 12.

Joey Mirabile led Shaker with 28 points. Jake Nelson secured 5 points.
Shaker made 4 baskets from long distance.
