The Mighty Warriors seemed ready to go right from the jump and sprinted out to a decent first quarter lead 13-7. They put together an extraordinary defensive effort and took control of the quarter. Yet, Lansingburgh rallied in the second quarter and outscored Mohonasen by 8 points.

The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Lansingburgh nosing in front.
The Knights played sound basketball in the second frame turning a 6-point first quarter deficit into a 2-point halftime bulge.

Mohonasen put forth a team first approach that provided a spark out of the break, after they trailed at the half, and grabbed an advantage of 31-30 going into the fourth period.
