Canajoharie won a nail biter versus Northville 61-57 in a Western Athletic Conference Crossover game at Fulton-Montgomery Community College. Marcus Johnson and Derek Hyney combined to score 39 points for the Cougars.
The Cougars used a fourth quarter push getting the better of Northville 19-14 to force the extra session.
Sparked by a great team effort in the second half Canajoharie outscored Northville 39-28 in the final two quarters and (OT). That was contradictory to the first half when Northville sprinted out to a 29-22 lead at the midway point.
Northville held a slim 1-point margin going into the second frame.
