Heatly pulled away from Loudonville Christian 50-37 in a hard fought Section 2 basketball match-up. Jordan Ries led the Hornets with 20 points.
The Hornets finished the game in splendid fashion as they outscored the Eagles by 7-points when it mattered most.
Heatly used an impressive first eight minutes and sprinted out to a hefty first quarter lead 18-7. They put together an extraordinary defensive effort and took control of the quarter.
Heatly were in control at every period ending horn by margins of 11, 9, 6, & 13.
The Hornets had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Jordan Ries paced Heatly with 20 points. Kierra Hope powered in 16 points. Olivia Diaz collected 10 points.
Skyler Househoulder led the Eagles with 14 points. Larissa Paddock poured in 7 points. Maggie Temple totaled 5 points.
