Mayfield escaped with a victory over Stillwater 50-41 in Class C sectional play. The #7 seed Panthers now advance to play #2 seed Maple Hill at 7:30 p.m on February 26th in Maple Hill.

The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Mayfield out in front.

Mayfield used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Stillwater  by 5 points.

The Panthers were on top at every quarter buzzer by margins of 4, 2, 7, & 9.

Mayfield placed three players in double figure scoring. Lindsey Hampton led Mayfield with 16 points. Cloey Dopp racked up 15 points. Kelsey Meca poured in 11 points. Brianna Hubiak dropped 6 points.

Marley Muller paced the Warriors with 16 points and scored her 1000th point in her career. Molly Sheeham contributed 11 points. Brooke Pickett scored 7 points.
Stillwater drained 5 buckets from beyond the arc.
