Green Tech were dominant versus Columbia 70-39 in Section 2 Class AA sectional play. Joshua Rodriguez led the winners with 18 points. Green Tech will play Colonie on Tuesday, March 3 in the semi-final round.
Green Tech dominated the first half and led 45-14.
The Eagles played well in the second quarter turning a 12-point first quarter lead into a 31-point halftime lead.
The Blue Devils used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Green Tech by 4 points.
Green Tech were in control at every quarter buzzer by margins of 12, 31, 27, & 31.
The Eagles had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Joshua Rodriguez paced the Eagles with 18 points. Kemore Johnson contributed 15 points. Justin Owens totaled 11 points. Mazziah Thorpe sank 9 points. Demani Benjamin racked up 8 points.
The Eagles knocked down 5 trifectas.

Timothy Strevell led Columbia with 12 points. Kamil Celestka scored 7 points. Joey Alamprese collected 6 points. Derek Ouimette tallied 6 points.
