Mekeel Christian tripped up Amsterdam 84-49 in a Class A quarter-final match up. Alex Barnhill paced the victors with 30 points.
Mekeel Christian were dominant in the second half as they pulled away for the decisive win. The Lions move on to play Gloversville at the Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls on March 5.
The Lions had great energy right from the tip off and darted in front to gain a hefty first quarter lead 21-11.

Mekeel Christian jumped out to a comfortable margin at the break 43-27. The Lions played sound basketball in the second frame turning a 10-point first quarter lead into a 16-point halftime lead.
Mekeel Christian were in front at every period ending horn by margins of 10, 16, 26, & 35.
The Lions placed four players in double figure scoring. Alex Barnhill led Mekeel Christian with 30 points. Ricky Rollins poured in 16 points. Jonan White totaled 12 points. Ozzy DeJesus finished with 12 points.

Caydren Graveley paced the Rams with 19 points. Cesar Thompson secured 10 points. Damion Colon added 6 points. Yandeel Vazquez tallied 6 points.
