North Warren outlasted Argyle 62-51 to win the Section 2 Class D championship. Anthony Girard paced the Cougars with 27 points. The Cougars will play Schroon Lake on March 14, 2 p.m. in Beekmantown. 

The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half intermission with North Warren nosing in front.

The Cougars used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Argyle by 8 points.

North Warren were in front at every quarter buzzer by margins of 4, 5, 13, & 11.

Anthony Girard led the Cougars with 27 points. Tanner Dunkley added 12 points. Nate Hopper had 7 points.
The Cougars buried 4 baskets from downtown.

Peyton Lufkin paced the Scots with 25 points. Hunter Ingram secured 15 points. Brenden Saunders netted 6 points.
The Scots connected on 4 baskets from long distance.
Argyle shot excellent from the charity stripe as they produced 70.8%, 17 of 24.
