Fort Edward tipped Whitehall 46-28 in the Class D title game. Gabby Thomas paced the winners with 18 points. Fort Edward will play the representative from Section VII Saturday March 14, at 12 p.m. in Beekmantown.
The Flying Forts used a monster second half as they coasted to victory. Fort Edward rode the coattails of their tenacious second half play as they led at the end of the the first twenty-four minutes of action and at the last horn.
Fort Edward ended the game in great form as they outscored the Railroaders by 6-points at the critical stage of the game.
The outcome was still in limbo as the teams went to the first half stoppage with Fort Edward out in front.
Fort Edward played well in the second quarter turning a 4-point first quarter deficit into a 1-point halftime edge.

The Flying Forts made 6 buckets from three point range.
Kyrie Smith paced the Railroaders with 12 points. Zoe Eggleston scored 5 points. Madi Gould added 5 points. Sam Howland scored 4 points.
