Argyle won in a tight fit over Northville 71-59 in a Class D semi-final match up. Peyton Lufkin and Derek Liddle combined to score 49 points for the Scots. The Scots relied on their solid second half play as they led at the end of the third period and at the final whistle.
Argyle held a modest 4-point edge at the beginning of the fourth quarter. This no holds barred match up was a war on the floor through the third period.
The Falcons seemed ready to go right from the jump and bolted out to a decent first quarter lead 20-14. Yet, The Scots rallied in the second quarter and outscored Northville by 12 points. Argyle played well in the second period turning a 6-point first quarter deficit into a 6-point halftime lead.
Peyton Lufkin paced the Scots with 27 points. Derek Liddle racked up 22 points. Hunter Ingram collected 9 points.
