North Warren won a nail biter versus Germantown 64-61 in a Class D semi-final game. The players and coaches lived up to their pregame hype. Anthony Girard paced the victors with 23 points. North Warren relied on their solid second half play as they led at the end of the first twenty-four minutes of action and at the closing horn.

Germantown were strong out of the gate and started the game in style racing to a decent first quarter lead 14-8. Yet, North Warren rallied in the second quarter and outscored Germantown by 5 points.
The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half intermission with Germantown nudging ahead.
North Warren put forth a team first approach that provided a spark out of the break, after they trailed at the half, and snatched the lead 47-41 going into the final quarter.
