Lansingburgh seized a down to the wire victory over Averill Park 55-48 in a Class A semi-final game that most local experts imagined would be a showdown of two quality teams. This meeting delivered the goods. Lansingburgh relied on their solid second half play as they led at the end of the first twenty-four minutes of action and at the final buzzer. 

The Knights advance to play Mekeel Christian in the Class A championship.

Both teams scratched and clawed to score the ball in the opening quarter as they combined for merely 16 points.

The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Averill Park out in front.

Lansingburgh made a charge out of the break, after they trailed at the half, which helped them capture the lead 35-30 going into the fourth period.

The offenses clicked in the fourth quarter as they generated a net scorching 38 points.

Lansingburgh had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Isaiah Knight led Lansingburgh with 14 points. Vinny Tario collected 13 points. Quashawn McFarlane totaled 12 points. K.J. Allison sank 8 points. Kobi Wallace powered in 8 points.

Jack Long paced Averill Park with 18 points. Ben Romer registered 10 points. Alex Pascarella collected 9 points.
The Warriors knocked down 10 trey balls.
