#1 seeded Catskill were cut down versus the #9 seeded Panthers of Hoosick Falls by 2 points 60-58, in Class B sectional play. Isiah Burnett and Jon Kempf combined to score 38 points for the Panthers.
Hoosick Falls used a fourth quarter counterattack as they bested Catskill 18-16 as time wound down. That spurt ultimately sealed the win.
The Panthers held a slight 3-point advantage going into the second frame.
Hoosick Falls played as a complete unit in the second frame turning a 3-point first quarter lead into a 7-point halftime lead.
Catskill made a charge out of the break, after they trailed at the half, and tied the game 42-42 going into the last quarter.
