Whitehall outlasted Northville 43-33 in a Class D semi-final sectional match up. Zoe Eggleston led the Railroaders with 25 points.
Whitehall were strong out of the gate and sprinted out to a nice first quarter lead 13-7. They put together an imposing defense and took control of the quarter.
Defense reigned supreme in the 2nd quarter as the teams scored just 12 points.The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half intermission with Whitehall gaining the upper hand.
Offense out shined the defense in the third quarter as the teams combined for a robust 29 points.Whitehall used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Northville by 5 points.
Whitehall were in front at every period ending horn by margins of 6, 2, 7, & 10.
