Ballston Spa conquered Burnt Hills 77-55 on the hardwood of Section 2 basketball. Keegan Zoller paced the Scotties with 31 points.
Ballston Spa had great energy right from the tip off and played excellent team basketball on their way to a significant first quarter lead 17-3. They relied on their stout defense and took control of the quarter. Yet, Burnt Hills rallied in the second quarter and outscored Ballston Spa by 6 points.
Ballston Spa used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Burnt Hills by 11 points.
The Scotties were in control at every period ending horn by margins of 14, 8, 19, & 22.
Ballston Spa placed three in double figure scoring. Keegan Zoller led the Scotties with 31 points. Kyle Blair contributed 13 points. Jason Faizy totaled 12 points.
The Scotties drained 8 buckets from jimmer range.
