Scotia escaped with a victory over Schuylerville 51-42 in one of the top games from around the region. Jazmyne Corker paced the Tartans with 21 points.
The Tartans seemed dialed in right from the jump and sprinted out to a decent first quarter lead 17-4. They put together an imposing defense and took control of the period. Yet, The Black Horses bounced back in the second quarter and outscored Scotia by 8 points.
The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half stoppage with Scotia gaining the upper hand.
The Tartans maximized their play in the third quarter and outscored Schuylerville by 5 points.
Scotia were on top at each and every quarter buzzer by margins of 13, 5, 10, & 9.
