Shaker beat Averill Park 51-30 on the hardwood of Section 2 basketball.
Shaker finished the game with authority as they got the better of the Warriors by 11-points at the critical stage of the game.
The Blue Bison played crisp right from the jump and started the game in style racing to a significant first quarter lead 12-4. They clamped down on their opponent with a magnificent defensive effort and grabbed control of the frame.
The squads revved up the offenses and combined for a high octane 33 points in the second quarter.
The Blue Bison were on top at every period ending horn by plus 8, 7, 10, & 21.
Maddisyn Mahoney led Shaker with 14 points. Kaelah Carter poured in 11 points. Kathleenjoy Gordon scored 8 points. Jules DeBeatham sank 7 points. Sole Carrington chalked up 6 points.
Shaker used expert marksmanship to make 6 trey balls.
Kaelah Carter made 3 three-pointers.
Kelsey Wood paced the Warriors with 10 points. Anna Jankovic registered 7 points. Amelia Wood finished with 7 points.
