In spite of an excellent game by Logan Thayne of Hoosick Falls, the Panthers were defeated by Greenwich 59-57. Thayne scored a game high 33 points. Molly Brophy paced Greenwich with 15 points.
Greenwich came up with a final stanza rally as they bested Hoosick Falls 22-17 as regulation came to an end. That burst enabled them to celebrate the outcome.

The Panthers held a slim 3-point margin at the start of the fourth quarter. This battle of wills kept fans on the edge of their seats through the third frame.

The end result was still uncertain as the teams went to the first half intermission with Greenwich nudging ahead. Greenwich played sound basketball in the second stanza turning a 2-point first quarter deficit into a 2-point halftime edge.
The Panthers came through with inspired basketball out of the locker room, after they trailed at the half, and grabbed an advantage of 40-37 going into the final quarter.
The Witches placed four in double figure scoring. Molly Brophy paced Greenwich with 15 points. Tess Merrill powered in 14 points. Adrianna Rojas finished with 10 points. Nora Niesz scored 10 points. Maddy Brophy popped in 7 points.
