Hoosic Valley squeaked by Mayfield 54-46 in a tilt that most area coaches imagined would come down to the last whistle. Tyler Eddy paced the winners with 24 points.
The Indians used an impressive first eight minutes and played excellent team basketball on their way to an ample first quarter lead 14-8.
The Indians were on top at every quarter stoppage by margins of 6, 7, 6, & 8.
Tyler Eddy led Hoosic Valley with 24 points. Logan Reilly contributed 11 points. CJ Bassett had 9 points.
