Ravena hung on vs. Schuylerville 51-40 in a first-rate (518) hoop encounter. This final result was anything from a forgone conclusion for the majority of the game. Hannah VanDerzee led the Indians with 20 points. The Indians rode the coattails of their consistent second half play as they led at the end of the third frame and at the closing horn.

The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half intermission with Ravena nudging ahead. Ravena played solid as a rock in the second stanza turning a 2-point first quarter deficit into a 4-point halftime bulge.
However, Ravena benefitted from great halftime adjustments and grabbed a 41-27 lead into the fourth quarter. The Indians capitalized on gritty play in the third quarter and outscored Schuylerville by 10 points.
