Cobleskill squeaked by Catholic Central 56-47 in one of the top games played today. Jessica Meade led the Bulldogs with 25 points. The Bulldogs success was built on their solid second half play as they led at the end of the third quarter and at the final whistle.
Focused play in the second half helped as the Bulldogs outscored Catholic Central 39-23 in the final two frames. That was the opposite of the first half when Catholic Central sprinted out to a 24-17 lead at the midway point.
The Bulldogs put forth a team first approach that provided a spark out of the break, after they trailed at halftime, and grabbed an advantage of 38-31 moving on to the fourth period.
Cobleskill placed three players in double figure scoring. Jessica Meade paced the Bulldogs with 25 points. Emma Osterhoudt contributed 14 points. Sabrina Pressley tallied 12 points.
Sarah Mattfeld led Catholic Central with 14 points. Angelena Giuliano scored 13 points. Brenna Graber finished with 9 points.
