Despite a great scoring performance by Charli Goverski of Mechanicville, the Red Raiders succumbed to defeat against Cobleskill 50-44. Goverski scored a game high 20 points and netted her 1000th career point. Jessica Meade paced Cobleskill with 17 points.
Cobleskill held a slim 3-point margin at the start of the second quarter. The Bulldogs played sound basketball in the second stanza turning a 3-point first quarter lead into a 9-point halftime advantage.
Offense out shined the defense in the third quarter as the teams combined for their highest scoring period of 33 points.
The Bulldogs managed to be ahead at every quarter buzzer by margins of 3, 9, 6, & 6.
