Gloversville outlasted Glens Falls 57-55 in a tilt that most local high school basketball followers imagined would come down to the final buzzer. This meeting delivered the goods. Dante Bouchard and Joseph Rowback combined to score 54 points for the Dragons.
The Dragons used a fourth quarter counterattack getting the better of Glens Falls 16-14 as regulation came to an end. That burst enabled them to celebrate the outcome.
Gloversville held a small 2-point lead at the beginning of the second stanza.
