Despite an MVP caliber game from Royal Brown of Cohoes, the Tigers took the loss against Voorheesville 86-72. Brown scored a game high 36 points. Zaveon Little and Tanner Tedesco combined to score 62 points for the victors.
The Blackbirds performed well in the second stanza turning a 5-point first quarter lead into a 10-point halftime edge.
Voorheesville maximized their play in the third quarter and outscored Cohoes by 8 points.
The Blackbirds were in command at every period closing whistle by splits of (+) 5, 10, 18, & 14.
Voorheesville had a triplet in double figure scoring. Zaveon Little led the Blackbirds with 33 points. Tanner Tedesco contributed 29 points. Matt Piccini dropped 12 points.
The Blackbirds made 11 baskets from long distance.
Tanner Tedesco made 5 three-pointers. Zaveon Little added 3.
