The Titans were cut down versus Rensselaer by 15 points, 47-32, in a hard fought Section 2 basketball tug-of-war.
Rensselaer were strong out of the gate and sprinted out to a nice first quarter lead 16-4. They relied on their stout defense and seized momentum in the period.

Rensselaer played solid as a rock in the second stanza turning a 12-point first quarter lead into a 17-point halftime edge.
The Rams managed to be ahead at every quarter stoppage by splits of (+) 12, 17, 17, & 15.
Rensselaer had a triplet in double figure scoring. Mechalle Cancer and Arianna Vogel led Rensselaer with 13 points. Jasmine Allert totaled 11 points.
Emily Mottoshiski, Macayla Sparacino and Marleah Perry each paced Taconic Hills with 6 points. Sydney Cooper had 4 points. Marissa Kernan notched 4 points.
