Even with the scoring exploits from Janessa Jones of Schenectady, the Patriots succumbed to defeat against Columbia 54-47. Jones scored a game high 19 points. Lauren Angelo led the Blue Devils with 15 points.

The Blue Devils produced a last period push as they eclipsed the Patriots 23-16 as time wound down. That burst enabled them to celebrate the outcome.

Columbia had great energy right from the tip off and bolted out to a decent first quarter lead 16-7. They relied on their stout defense and seized momentum in the period.

The two squads refused to give ground through three quarters as the score was tied at 31. Schenectady used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Columbia by 6 points.

The offenses fired on all cylinders in the fourth quarter as they generated a potent offensive display 39 points.

Lauren Angelo led the Blue Devils with 15 points. Sophie Bissailon netted 12 points. Justine Senecal dropped 9 points. Natalie Faas notched 8 points. Lauren Preston racked up 6 points.
Columbia made 6 hoops from behind the arc.
