Saratoga won an instant classic versus Ballston Spa 60-56 in what turned out to be a mammoth test between the lines of Suburban Council basketball units. Luke Britton led the Blue Streaks with 22 points.
Saratoga generated a game changing eight-minute push as they out-shot the Scotties 23-14 as regulation came to an end. They survived this tough encounter.
Ballston Spa held a modest 1-point edge at the beginning of the second stanza.
Saratoga performed effectively in the second frame turning a 1-point first quarter deficit into a 7-point halftime bulge.
