Maple Hill won a cliff-hanger versus Rensselaer 58-51 in an uber competitive game from around the region. Blake Decker paced the Wildcats with 26 points. The Wildcats built on their unwavering second half play as they led at the end of the third quarter and at the final horn.
Maple Hill held a small 4-point lead at the start of the fourth quarter. This battle of wills felt like a clash of the titans through the third quarter.
Focused play in the second half helped as Maple Hill outscored the Rams 38-22 in the final two quarters. That was different as they flipped the script of the first half when the Rams put together 29-20 lead at the midway point.

The Wildcats shot with first-rate accuracy from the charity stripe as they produced 68.2%, 15 of 22.
