Cambridge slipped past Tamarac 49-44 in one of the top games from around the region.


The Indians were strong out of the gate and darted in front to gain a decent first quarter lead 17-6. They put together an extraordinary defensive effort and took control of the quarter.
Cambridge opened up a sizable halftime advantage of 30-17.

Tamarac used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Cambridge by 7 points.

The Indians were in front at every quarter buzzer by margins of 11, 13, 6, & 5.
Tamarac produced a rally in the second half but they came up short. 

Lilly Phillips paced Cambridge with 16 points. Fiona Mooney added 13 points. Sophie Phillips had 9 points.
Cambridge drilled 4 baskets from downtown.

Syrita Faraj led Tamarac with 14 points. Lizzie Machnick powered in 7 points. Jordyn Sorel collected 6 points. Alexis D Agostino dropped 5 points. Emily Erickson sank 5 points.
The Bengals shot outstanding from the free throw line as they produced 66.7%, 14 of 21.
