Gloversville narrowly held off Northville 51-40 in an intense Section 2 basketball match up. Fans could not have been disappointed as the contest lived up to its pre-game expectation. James Collar was a walking bucket for the Dragons popping in 18 points.
Gloversville went off in a crunch time comeback as they ground out a victory versus the Falcons 22-9 as regulation came to an end. That run iced the game.
Both teams scratched and clawed to score the ball in the opening quarter as they combined for only 13 points. Gloversville held a modest 3-point edge going into the second frame.
