Shenendehowa defeated Saratoga 75-37 in the Suburban Council Championship game. Jillian Huerter led the Plainsmen with 21 points.
The Plainsmen were dominant in the second half and collected the victory.
Shenendehowa used an impressive first eight minutes and played excellent team basketball on their way to a nice first quarter lead 16-7. They used a lock down mentality protecting their basket and imposed their will in the quarter.
The Plainsmen opened up a sizable halftime advantage of 35-20. Shenendehowa performed well in the second quarter turning a 9-point first quarter lead into a 15-point halftime edge.
Shenendehowa were benefitted by a robust performance in the third quarter and outscored Saratoga by 12 points.
The Plainsmen were on top at every period closing whistle by plus 9, 15, 27, & 38.
Shenendehowa had a triad in double figure scoring. Jillian Huerter paced the Plainsmen with 21 points. Meghan Huerter netted 17 points. Rylee Carpenter dropped 14 points.
The Plainsmen splashed 10 hoops from behind the arc.
