Maple Hill beat Greenville 68-45 on the hardwood of Section 2 basketball. Nate Mannion led the Wildcats with 22 points. Maple Hill depended on their tenacious second half play as they led at the end of the the first twenty-four minutes of action and at the final horn.
Greenville held a small 2-point lead heading into the second quarter. The Wildcats opened up a sizable halftime advantage of 34-19.
Maple Hill played solid as a rock in the second frame turning a 2-point first quarter deficit into a 15-point halftime bulge.
Maple Hill used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Greenville by 7 points.
The Wildcats placed three players in double figure scoring. Nate Mannion paced Maple Hill with 22 points. Blake Decker poured in 10 points. Evan Kulpa totaled 10 points. Quinn Pratico accumulated 9 points. Tyler Hanrahan racked up 8 points.
